Privacy
Privacy Policy
Forward Path Solutions Pty Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Given the confidential nature of board advisory work, we treat privacy as a professional obligation, not merely a legal one.
What we collect
We collect personal information you choose to provide: typically your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the contents of your enquiry when you contact us through this website, by email, by phone, or through our booking service. We do not collect sensitive information unless you volunteer it in the course of an engagement.
How website enquiries are handled
Enquiries submitted through this website's contact form are processed and stored by our website hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to us by email. Bookings made through our scheduling link are processed by Calendly. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy in addition to our obligations described here.
How we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide advisory services, manage engagements, and meet legal and professional obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unsolicited marketing.
Confidentiality of engagements
The fact of an enquiry or engagement, and all information shared within it, is treated as confidential. We do not identify clients or engagements publicly without express permission.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including secure email and access controls. Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs, contact us first and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
